About the Fest
To celebrate our glorious golden jubilee of independence, Dept of CSE, MIST is organizing ICT innovation fest for the university students of Bangladesh to share their innovative solutions to problems we face as a nation today. In the Hackathon, Project Showcasing, and Mobile app contest, students will get to produce innovative solutions, sharpen their technical skills, and win cumulative prize money of BDT 315,000. Be sure to check the event pages for details and submit your ideas by the given deadline!

To proudly celebrate the joyous occasion of Golden Jubilee of Independence, MIST Inter University ICT Innovation Fest 2021 is being organized with the aim of inspiring ingenious ideas and innovative technological solutions from aspiring young participants. I strongly believe that the event will uphold the fundamentals of Digital Bangladesh and motivate future leaders of the nation towards developing and utilizing Information and Communication Technology based solutions.

Can cross-university students form a group?
No. All the members of a team must be from the same university.

How much is the registration fee for the event?
The registration fee is 100 BDT per student. However, there will be no registration fee for the essay competition event.

How can I pay the registration fee?
The registration fee (BDT 100 per team member) can be paid by sending money to the following Bkash numbers.

Put your team name as the "reference" while you send the money using Bkash. A confirmation mail will be sent to you after we verify your payment information. -
How can I be sure that my registration is completed?
We will send a confirmation message to the team leader’s email once you complete registration and the submission is verified at our end.

Is the video presentation of the prototype mandatory in the Hackathon and App Contest?
The video presentation is optional. But teams are encouraged to submit it so that the judgement panel may understand your idea better.
